New Orleans Indoor Sports Complex Summer Activities Registration Launched

Big Easy Sportsplex and baseball academy, one of the largest indoor sporting complexes in New Orleans, has launched its summer activities specializing in activities for kids and adolescents, and is ready for new member sign ups. A provider of performance training, sports instructions, sporting and summer camps, clinics and various leagues, Big Easy Sportsplex is now taking registration for various summer activities, camps and sporting seasons, specializing in activities for adolescents. It also regularly hosts birthday parties and special events.

Big Easy Sportsplex is currently calling for registrations for a number of summer sports camps, including an all-sports camp for children, including basketball, baseball, football and soccer, as well as kickball, and other games designed to promote cooperation, patience and teamwork. It includes a functional movement component for older children. The all-sports camp also emphasizes: sportsmanship, fundamentals, rules, hustle, positive attitude and the ability and willingness to listen and learn.

Other summer sessions currently include: Little Sluggers baseball program, for ages two to seven (grouped accordingly), introducing children to baseball and its fundamentals; and a softball program with August tryouts, aimed at female athletes. Big Easy also offers: a Travel Baseball Academy program with tryouts in August - September for the full season, or open tryouts for summer - fall season; and school field trips, consisting of two hours of activities with various stations from obstacle courses to 'goofy games' to battling cages and speed and agility training.

Regular programs throughout the year at Big Easy Sportsplex include: Youth Baseball League, organized into appropriate age groups, and Big Easy Cheer Academy open to boys and girls of all ages, teaching cheer, tumbling, stunt and jump techniques.

The company also hosts special events such as birthday parties for kids, including sports themed birthday parties, with catering and a sports host, and also tea parties for girls that include dress up in fancy dress and accessories, proper table settings with real crockery and silver, food and two hostesses.
