Sampa Guha Majumdar Exhibits at Korean Cultural Centre India

New Delhi: ?Colors of Korea? ? a solo exhibition was organized by photographer Shampa Guha Majumdar at Korean Cultural Centre, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi . This exhibition showcases the landscapes and culture of Korea through the photographs (in the view of an Indian). In this exhibition, one can see the natural beauty, culture and heritage of South Korea. Thorough this exhibition you can fall in love with nature. The clear depiction of Koreas? diversity can be felt by these photographs. This exhibition will be on display till 10th June 2016. Opening time is from 09:00 am to 06:00 P.M. It is open for all.
Director Kim Kum Pyong Korean Cultural Centre appreciated photographers work and said that the exhibition made him feel the presence of Korea in India.
Talking on her experience Shampa Guhamajumdar said people there are very polite, friendly and humble. They are very much curious about India, and like Indian food, culture, dress, film and want to visit India. Adding more on her experience she said that nowadays Singapore, Beijing, Bangkok is very common destination. Korea needs to be explored more. People have a perception that Korea is similar to Japan or China. But it is not the fact. Korea has its own Culture and identity. Scenic beauty is also very nice and has interesting four seasons.
She also felt that the country is very safe for women. She was surprized to see lady cab driver at service in midnight. Event night Club and Pub running by 25 years young girl made her happy at the same time she sensed her sadness for Indian Women. She also said that She had tried to show all these diversities through her lenses.
