Columbus, Ohio - Rick Moore Karate Tournament celebrates 40th year anniversary in the Columbus area. One of the top martial arts instructors who has been promoting martial arts events in the last 40 years. Rick Moore will be inducted into the Columbus World of Martial Arts Hall of Fame this coming October 2016. His list of Black Belt Instructors at the karate tournament were impressive. It was like who's who in the martial arts along with the amazing kid's karate wins 9 first place awards

TEAM TAMA, [Karate](http://www.awardwinningchildrenskarate.com) competition team from [TAMA](http://www.tamamartialarts.com) [Martial Arts Center](http://www.tamamartialarts.com) from Dayton, competed in the event this past April 2, 2016, at Rick Moore's Karate Tournament. Grandmaster Taningco's students did very well, and the Karate team gathered a total winning of 9 First Place Awards, 2 Second Place Awards, 2 Third Place Awards, and 1 Fourth Place Award from 5 competitors.Riley Lombard, Rayna Kraus, Ty Wetzel, Jasper Wetzel, and Nathan Metcalf. All of these kids are under 13 years of age with the two youngest at five years old by both Jasper and Nathan. Riley fought valiantly against another fighter who is two feet taller than him. He was exciting to watch how he would do against taller and bigger boys.

Rayna's first competition this year winning 3 First Place Awards.. She competed in forms and out-competed the 5 other girls in her division. Her fighting ability was very tense. Rayna was behind points and caught up winning in the last minute of the fight. She ousted the next opponent without contest and winning first place in the fighting division of her age. Dynamite Nathan Metcalf, proudly displays his award, winning against all of his opponents at age 5 with his tenacity.

Exciting to watch Ty do his form, weapons, and sparring. His flamboyant flare to using his legs to kick is just fast and lighting. Even when he performed his "Kata" and weapons Kobudo, that he brings the house down.

Jasper's first-year competition is the most novice among student. He is the quietest but always smiles with no worries. His confidence has picked up since he has been studying karate with his older brother Ty. Jasper's first competition ever!
