Sodium Burn is a new creative art showcase proudly exhibiting an array of visual artist?s work from all over the planet. You?ll find a selection of illustrators, ?photographers, graphic designers and image makers of all kinds, showing alongside painters and typographers.

You can expect huge diversity with influences coming from cinema and pop culture, urban environment, fashion, design and multimedia.

All of the work is highly personal and individual and doesn't necessarily follow any particular trend, some of the artists are up and coming and still unsung, others are already established and prominent in their field but contributing work of a more personal nature; where their day to day work may be more about producing work tailored to a client?s brief.

The platform is both vivid and exciting with no two artists work mimicking each other.
However collaborative work also features certainly in the form of photography, illustration, graphic design and typography presenting a wonderfully rich melting pot of ideas and techniques as it?s result.

It would have been impossible to curate from a wider import base as contributors come from virtually every continent on the planet, but that's something the founder is working hard to achieve.

Every contributor is handpicked by Sodium Burn?s original member Chris Charalambous, himself a photographer and designer with many years working in London for large institutions.

First and foremost he is looking for striking interesting imagery but another layer to this showcase is that artists are also being interviewed about their work, bringing an extra dimension to the table.

This is a great opportunity to find out about different artistic styles and also discover a little about what makes the artist tick.

The platform gives viewers the opportunity to find new artists and illustrators, to start their own art collection without the need for big budgets simultaneously circumnavigating any elitism.

This is a DIY culture approach we make our own art and we share it between us, we are the community, but who are ?we??
?We? refers to the artists and illustrators contributing to the platform whilst offering insight into their philosophy, technique and practice and onlookers with an interest in finding original, unique, accessible, affordable art works.

This is designed to be the opposite experience of walking past a gallery you feel you can't afford to walk into, or walking around an exhibition which feels detached and meaningless from everyday experience get still manages to be pompous extravagantly expensive.

Art has worth and it certainly has worth beyond finance itself, ?but it also deserves to be in public places and it's really accessible to all.

Anyone who appreciates art and has a keen interest in exploration and finding new influences should be able to with a few clicks of a mouse.
Sodium Burn is the place to begin your journey and start your collection.
