Mahindra NuvoSport Launched Today at Rs 7.35 Lakh

The latest SUV, Mahindra NuvoSport is launched today (April 4), in India at Rs 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom,Mumbai).
With a lot more style, class and features, this facelifted version of Quanto is highly targeted for the youngsters living an energetic and outdoorsy life.
Though, being one of the first carmakers to enter the sub-4 metre SUV space with the Quanto, Mahindra & Mahindra could not succeed getting the great response from the consumers. Even after such terrible situation, Mahindra yet launched the all-new subcompact SUV TUV300. It was stylish and elements of a true blue SUV. Unfortunately, that too could not give good results. And yet again, they have released the Quanto facelift, a.k.a. NuvoSport, today.
The in-house team of Mahindra designed and developed this incredible utility vehicle. The research was done at the Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai.
Regarding its specifications: the interior of the 7-seater Mahindra NuvoSport is composed of few fantastic features including lumbar support eight-way adjustable seats, air conditioning unit extra, 2-din touch screen infotainment framework, Bluetooth connectivity, reverse parking camera, maps, and even centre console structure.
The exterior too is a bit different from the Quanto. With new headlamps, new turn indicators on the sides, and a massive front bumper, the NuvoSport is set to make its mark in the industry. Moreover, it is also equipped with a more stylish bonnet and has chrome surround fog lamps.
Nuvo Sport will be powered by Quantos 1.5-litre three-cylinder mHawk diesel motor, offering a better performance of 74.6 kW at 3750rpm and a torque of 240 Nm at 1600-2800rpm at Power mode. The car also features an Eco mode, which offers a power of 53.4 kW at 3250rpm and 180Nm of torque at 1600-2100rpm.
It will have 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, and a five-speed AMT (automatic transmission) unit optionally. Not to forget, the SUV has all the safety gears recommended by Indian safety norms. The fuel efficiency of the SUV is expected to be around 17.5Km/l.
