Hyundai is planning to launch Car DVD navigation in its Elite i20 and i20 Active models

Hyundai is offering a 7-inch touch-screen audio video Car DVD navigation system in Hyundai Elite i20 and i20 Active models. The feature is offered with the Asta (O) trim of the Elite i20 and Active SX variant of the i20 Active. The Asta (O) variant of Hyundai Elite i20 with the AVN systam will cost Rs 7.16 lakhs for petrol car and Rs 8.28 lakhs for diesel car. Whereas the SX variant of i20 Active will cost Rs 7.92 laks for petrol and Rs 9.16 laks for diesel car.

This equipment is said to be a move that will counter the new Honda Jazz whose top-end VX is already equipped with an audio-video navigation system.


The features in the new AVN system include pre-loaded maps, GPS-based voice navigation, rear camera display and complete in-car entertainment and connectivity features.

The system also comes with Bluetooth connectivity which will let users sync their phone so that it is easy for them to receive hands-free calls apart from listening to music.

The AVN system has a predictive keyboard which will allow users to conveniently search for locations in the maps. One can also pre-save routes for easy access. So it will be more entertained to drive with a Car DVD player in Hyundai.
